The PSI Group develops and integrates software for utilities, manufacturers, and infrastructure providers. They asked Hesse Design to update its dashboard and develop its mobile version. I was one of the leading designers. After analyzing, we listed the things to update, like the color palette, the typography, the icon library, the charts, and the dashboard.
The original color palette has mainly green and gray. As the green has a bit yellow tone, we think yellow as a secondary color would pair well with the green. In addition, we add variants of primary and secondary colors to the palette.
We redesigned the typography system to create a clear visual hierarchy. For icons, PSI has its own library. We updated the icons based on the grid and add a few new icons.
We designed the responsive layout grid.
